What’s new in Conversion Manager

Download the latest version of the Conversion Manager virtual appliance from the XenServer Downloads page.

If you already have a previous version of the Conversion Manager virtual appliance installed and want to upgrade to the latest version, there is no automatic upgrade path. Download the latest version of the virtual appliance and remove the older version from your system.

What’s new in 2026.1.0

This release includes the following new features:

  • Support for converting additional Linux guests: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Rocky Linux 8 and 9, and Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04.

  • Support for converting Linux guests that use the XFS file system or UEFI boot mode.

  • Support for converting VMs from VMware 9 to XenServer®.

  • Support for converting VMs to XenServer 9.

  • Support for converting a single virtual disk of up to 16 TiB on GFS2 storage repositories.

  • A new option in XenCenter® to automatically start each VM after its conversion completes.

  • (Preview) Support for converting Windows Server 2025 guests.

To use these features, ensure that your XenCenter is updated to the latest version.
